Spaceflight Tracker is maintained by Tiago Carleial. It is an independent website, not an official service of NASA, a launch operator or The Space Devs. Its purpose is to help visitors find a mission and understand what the schedule actually says before they make a viewing plan.
Two ways to use the site
The launch briefing combines upcoming and selected missions with an original field guide to dates, launch windows and flight milestones. The schedule lets you browse loaded missions, filter them and switch precise target times between UTC and your local time zone.
Where the information comes from
Mission names, descriptions, vehicle and operator names, launch locations, status labels, date precision and available broadcast links come from The Space Devs’ Launch Library 2. Provider mission descriptions are labelled as such. They are not presented as original reporting by this site.
Responses are cached for 30 minutes. Individual record updates can be older than the page snapshot. An operator’s latest announcement is the better source for an immediate launch decision. This site does not independently measure flight data or verify every schedule change.
How the schedule is interpreted
The underlying target timestamp is preserved. When the source supplies only a broad date estimate, the interface suppresses the precise clock. A passed target never automatically becomes a successful launch. Holds and unconfirmed dates carry explicit context. The full schedule uses chronological order; selected missions in the briefing can stay visible after launch.
If a provider request fails, the affected schedule is marked unavailable. Existing results remain visible if a later batch fails. We do not replace an outage with invented flights, dates, statistics or mission outcomes.
Editorial process and limits
The explanatory text was revised with AI assistance on 17 September 2026. Sources for launch concepts are linked next to the relevant passages. Worked scenarios are labelled illustrative and are not live mission predictions. The site does not claim firsthand launch reporting, aerospace credentials or hands-on testing.
The September revision narrowed the public website to launch tracking and its supporting information. Retired tools and unrelated articles are no longer part of the public catalogue. Changes to the site do not imply approval or endorsement by Google or any data provider.
